Rob Shaughnessy’s practice focuses upon business litigation, pre-trial law and motion, civil writs and appeals. Rob chairs the firm’s "Appellate Practice Group." Together with the rest of this group, Rob represents the firm’s clients in civil appeals and civil writ proceedings. Rob believes that an effective appellate practice group is vital to the firm’s continuing goal of efficiently meeting all of the clients’ legal needs. Rob received his B.A. cum laude from the California State University at San Bernardino in 1990, and received his J.D. degree from California Western School of Law in 1994. He is the author of several articles on various legal topics including the unauthorized practice of law, malicious prosecution, the Unfair Competition Law, and California’s Anti-SLAPP statute. Rob became a shareholder in the firm in 2006. Rob is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Southern, Central and Eastern District Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
